Chyi Ruey is an artist working with photography. Ruey likes to play around with her photos to seek interesting combinations, conversing with them repeatedly to articulate her mental space during the taking of the photograph. She is interested in how her work can reflect upon her mental and emotional status, using photographs as the medium to understand and recall her consciousness and unconsciousness during the photographic process. Ultimately, these photographs are her language to interpret to others how she engages with the world.
